and my dsl is supposed to be faster i cleaned the cookies and temporary internet files and browsing history scanned for viruses and spyware and adware what's goin on!! HELP PLEASE

If the pages that you're hitting have large files (big images, for example) then it almost doesn't matter what browser or settings you use. Sometimes the bottleneck is in the page getting sent rather than the page loading.

you probly installed a toolbar like yahoo or google uninstall it and that should fix the problem
Some may say Cable modem isfaster, (I think it is). Sounds like you have dial up.
Firefox is faster that IE. And there is an even faster browser than that.

Close other applications and even services you could do without.

Only go to web sites that are small with few or no pictures (What kind of recommendation is that!)

Broadband is faster than dial-up and T1 is faster still.

Sometimes errors creep in and a reboot may help.
Your browser is just fine.Depending of your internet connection or your ISP,most problems of slow surffing is the settings you use.

Disable pop up,and install all flash activex and players so.

Dont use any of optimatization tools because thay dont work.

Another thing is that your system is infected with some viruses of spywares..... you must clean the system.

Use Opera browser couse is most advanced.
