Computer Virus?

Recently i been noticing that my computer shouts every once in a while a weird laugh, with the pitch of a little children...like..:"hahaha" and then it stops...sometimes it does twice in a row. I ran my anti-virus, (home version AVAST), as well as spy-bot and adware but no virus found. Before that i ran the free version of Zone-alarm anti virus as well, and also found nothing. What can this laugh be? A virus? I worry because i play poker online and i have a good sum of $ spread out in the websites, and i worry abt the security of my computer. Anyone with a similar problem?

Computer Virus?

I feel you are infected. spybot and adaware found nothing along with Avast. So try a free online scan that will remove any infection it finds at

When using spybot, don't forget to use the immunize feature. Also getting spyware blaster will prevent spyware from being installed in the first place.

Download SpywareBlaster---http://majorgeeks.com/download2859.html

SpywareBlaster doesn't scan and clean for spyware - it prevents it from ever being installed.

It's main features include:

- Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.

- Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.

- Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.
