Good Antivirus Program?

I don't know what Antivirus program to get that also has spyware and adware protection. I've used Symantec and Norton, but I want an Antivirus program that doesn't slow down my computer that much and that it can detect all of the viruses on my computer because I know that Norton and Symantec miss a lot.

I was thinking of getting ESET NOD32 Antivirus Home Edition, but I'm not totally sure yet.

NOD32 is a good tool as is also PcCillin I also have spyware doctor. it stops much more than my anti virus does. cost $30 look at the reviews on http://www.pcworld.com to rate the best tools they check them all. good luck.

I use McAfee..but you should go with one that you feel comfortable with, anti-virus vendors give a trial period with their products so try some of them till you're satisfied
I was going to suggest ESET NOD32, or Avira AntiVir PE Premium is well worth a try -- It currently has the best detection rates with very little resource usage.

First of all..there's no single perfect software...Even the best antiviruses/antispywares have their own pros n cons...

From many reviews and articles i read...i got to know 1 thing...The best way of protection is to use antivirus n antispywares of different companies...

The most widely used combination is :

Antivirus ..Kaspersky antivirus ...It's the best but not free!

Anti-Spywares.. Spybot search %26 Destroy , Lavsoft Adaware (use both at a time, itz more effective)
