Many companies and individuals are in the business of investigating and evaluating the unethical practices being deployed by many 'rogue' anti-spyware tools. It is happening as we speak.
The problem arises when so many people just click on things for curiousity sake without considering, what the link might be or where it might take them or what it will do after they click it...or, you know, "I think I'll just click it, maybe it will go away."
For those companies pushing advertisement and marketing, every 'click' means $ MONEY $. It's a billion dollar business and they have NO concern for you or the problems you may encounter, once you have donated your 'CLICK' (read that as; "Cha - Ching, Cha - Ching")
