Can i back up my laptop the way it is?

i have my laptop EXACTLY the way i want it. it is clean, defragged, no adware/spyware, my own theme, desktop icons changed to what i want etc etc. how can i back this up exactly the way i have it? if i create a boot disk now it won't return this way if i used it as it will only put me back to basics and i will have to put all the icons back in and everything else. if i have to ever do that i want everything back to the way i have it now. can i create a backup disk that can return it to the point i have it now? thanks in advance

It seems that people have missed a main feature of Acronis True Image:

Use this to create an image of your hdd but you do NOT need to store this image onto an external media or seperate partition which you already may or may not have on your computer.

You can let Acronis make an image %26 allow it to automatically place the image into what Acronis calls a "Secure Zone" (which Acronis makes during the image making operation). This "Secure Zone" is a protected partition which is not part of windows %26 cannot be corrupted by windows.

Inorder to restore by using this image all you need to do is press the f11 key during boot up before you get to windows.

(This is very useful if you have no cd rom to boot from like me)
