What internet security package should I buy for Windows XP?

I am looking for a good security package for my laptop(Windows XP OS) which would be secure against the latest virus threats, phishing and identity theft, adware and spyware etc. I am especially concerned about fraud and online transactions. Is Norton 360 good?

hello i will say....u must use AVG ANTIVIRUS and ZONE ALARM SECURITY SUITE...the combination is best..u can forget about security after it..both are free on net..just download them...

i just have free ones from the net and they work great....

i have AvgFree, and Adaware SE personal, and Spybot search and destroy, i think they can all be found on download.com.....if not just google them, just keep them updated and they work pretty good
Norton is good but it's a resource hug... If you insist on buying a security package the best one I would recommend is Kaspersky Internet Security. It integrates just about anything you may need to protect you laptop (antivirus, firewall, antispyware..). Russian antiviruses are allways at the top.
