Is it wrong to have more than 1 anti-virus on my computer?

Right now I have 4 anti-virus programs installed on my labtop. I have plenty of empty space left over. If you have know of any better anti-virus programs that is not listed below please let me know in your answer, or if you think i sure uninstall one or more.

I have:

AVG

Search and Destroy

Windows Defender

and Adware 2007

AVG is the antivirus

Search and Destroy is a spyware cleaner

Windows Defender is also a spyware cleaner

Adware 2007 is another spyware cleaner

Provided you update them all it's no issue. But don't add another antivirus as it's like putting 2 head chefs in the kitchen (most likely they will kill each other).

Spyware cleaners are ok if you have more than 1. Think of them as kitchen staffs (one does the desserts, another the dishes, etc).

Right now, you're ok. make sure to UPDATE them before using them otherwise, it's useless. ^_^

just wasted space you only need one working overlapping will not give you better protection since any virus is picked up by one anti virus the other are just laying around enjoying the free hard drive space
Any more than one anti-virus program is going to cause you problems. One is all you need and should have. You can have multiple anti-spyware programs, but only one anti-virus...pick one of those, such as AVG, and get rid of any other anti-virus program.
uninstall all installed anti-virus from ur computer and just keep, " Kaspersky Anti-Virus" it is the best antivirus and surely will protect ur computer fully. thanx
More than one functioning anti-viruses and anti-spywares all at the same time could cause problems because they would cause function conflicts in your computer.
