I need some help with my anti-spy?nortan
A lot depends on what anti spyware product you are using but with most you are given an option to have the software delete the spyware at the next start up.
If you do not have an administrative account there is a lot of stuff you cannot do on your computer. If someone else owns this computer, let them know what you're trying to do. If you own the computer but somehow are not logged in as the administrator, you'll need to log in in "safe mode". To do that, tapp the F8 key when you next start up and when given a list of options choose to use safe mode. Then when the log in screen appears, choose to log in as the administrator. Then run the spyware program again.

There are certain things only the administrator of a computer can do. If your computer has more than one user you need to determine which user is the administrator. Log on to the computer as the administrator and you should be able to remove the files. If this fails, contact the anti spy program support center and have them walk you through it.
Download and run Spybot Search and Destroy. It stays in the background as a monitor of spyware and other suspicious things. Then you run it once a week to make sure everything is clean. And it is FREE. http://www.safer-networking.org/
1. Click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
2. In the System Properties dialog box, click the System Restore tab.
3. Click to select the Turn off System Restore check box. Or, click to select the Turn off System Restore on all drives check box.
4. Click OK.
Restart your computer and keep tapping F8 until a menu comes up. Select Safe mode. Run your scan again. If it still asks for administrator, right click on the program and choose "Run As.."
This means you need to be logged in as administrator to remove the files.
