I wouldn't suggest you to block all of your cookies. Setting the "Privacy Level" to "Medium" is bes since good sites (online shopping site, for example) always require cookies.

I use to Ad-aware from Lavasoft to remove "advertising cookies" as well as spyware. http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaw...

If you are really worried about spyware and bad advertising cookies, I suggest you to download Spybot from http://www.safer-networking.org/

Both of these products are free for personal use and both of them work great (they have received highest rating among many programs)

Go to Start, go to control panel, and then after that go to Internet prefrences. Then when you click on that there will be option to delete cookies and things like that . Cookies can slow down your internet and you will see a significant change in speed when you do this if this is what you desire . I recommend to just be calm and to delete cookies each day after you do that or each time you get on or off the comp.
In Internet Explorer, go to Tools -%26gt; Internet Options -%26gt; Delete Cookies. You can also set your privacy level higher. On the privacy tab, move the slider up to the highest setting to block all cookies.
use anti-spy with yahoo companion its free
