AVG anti-virus freezing in middle of scan?

I have AVG 7.5 free virus scan and in the last 2 or 3 days it has been stopping once it reaches 6900 files. I also have avast and super anti-spyware. Those are working fine and have detected some trojans and adware in the last few days. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the AVG and it is still doing the same thing. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Running two antiviruses on your system can and will cause conflicts with each other, I suggest that you decide which one you like the best and eliminat the other, As far as antispyware I run three on mine and they do not conflict,, Two are stand alone scanners (avg antispyware and adaware se ) and the one I like the most gives me protection in the background called spyware doctor,, If you would like the link to the spyware doctor email me and ill send it,

well, you cant have 2 antivirus on your computer

I have google spydoctor

avgfree

and adaware
It might be the other anti-virus program interfering, or the Trojans doing it.
Your AVG and AVAST may have a conflict.
it is obsessed with 69, just like me 6969
your 2 anti virus programs are conflicting with each other i would remove avast its not as effective as avg and remove superantispyware its only a trial use avg antispyware as well.
A lot of Virus Scan programs do that when either you run out of memory on your computer or there is one nasty adware that doesn't want to die. So I suggest you get some more "RAM" or try a different virus scan. If you have a legal version of windows, goto the microsoft website and get Microsoft defender, and if that doesn't get rid of it, use the trial for "Webroot Spysweeper." Or you can just buy but yea...
