My husband messed the computer up?

he tried to install some adware spyware crap, and now if i use internet explorer, and i have more than one window open and close one out, they both close and i get a message saying ie has encountered a prob and needs to close... and i cant send messages from my yahoo (it closes the browser when i try) so i have to use firefox and i Hate firefox! any suggestions with whats wrong or what i can do? I tried uninstalling the stuff he put on, and there are parts i cant find that are still installed

Was the program free? If it was your husband could of installed spy ware or ad ware or even a virus!! Check to see if you have any viruses in you computer. But if that doesn't work try going into the hard disk and look for some of the files that haven't got un-installed.or you may have a few bad files in your computer that are not from the crap your husband installed.If nothing works do this(its similar to the system restore)

1.get your windows disk

2.put it in the disk drive

3. something will come up click repair

4.if that dosn't work re install your OS
On the bright side you still can access the Internet!
