Router won't connect?

Recently, my laptop was heavily infected with adware, so we restored it to its original settings. And now, the router won't connect. We called the router company, and they said everything on their end is fine. What could be wrong? It was working fine before it was restored.

Try going into control panel, network connections and on the left select new network connection and see if that helps.

Reboot the router to factory default - there should be a little button; only accessible with a pen or paper clip. Hold the button down to restore - you should then be able to pull an IP from your router. Good luck!

also have you tried unplugging it for awhile?



or ask the company how to restore to defaults
