when i turn my computer on my mcafee pops up and says

" a potential harmful scirpt has been remove" the name vbs/Psyme

I was wondering is that a virus on my pc or spyware or adware and how do i get rid of it

psyme also known as trunlow is a trojan created to steal passwords. if mcaffe can't remove it, delete it by your self. this parasite is really dangerous. here are instructions to remove psyme manually:

Sounds like McAfee is not doing its job, get free AVG virus protector, McAfee and Norton are worthless.
Go here to get rid of it.
