Warning:Unresponsive Script Popup?

I feel pretty certain that it has to do with mozilla and not spyware or adware. Reason being is that I got it alot on my old laptop and I thought that it was spyware causing it. But then I got my new laptop and it stated doing it right away. Plus nothing comes up on norton. So it has to be something with mozilla. What is causing this unresponsive script and how can I make it stop? It's annoying to have it pop up and have to click away.

Whenever a page takes too long to load, firefox will give you this warning. Change the default time as follows:

1. Type about:config in Firefox's address bar.

2. Filter down to the value for dom.max_script_run_time.

3. Change the value to something higher than the default (which is 5.) I set mine to 20.

*EDIT* A little more info: To determine what script is running too long, open the Error Console (JavaScript Console prior to Firefox 2) and tell it to stop the script. The Error Console should identify the script causing the problem. If you get the Unresponsive Script Error on many different web pages, the problem is most likely a recently installed extension. If you get the Unresponsive Script Error on a specific web page, it could be a problem with the JavaScript on the web page. You may want to contact the webmaster of the site to inform them of the problem, or you may wish to file a Tech Evangelism bug report. The Mozilla forum for this error is here:
